Four Seasons at Ericht
The perfect setting summer or winter: our 6 lodges nestled in the trees over looking the mighty River Ericht. In Scotland you really experience all that nature has to offer, the seasons have so much meaning here but we can't rule out getting all 4 in one day here!
January to March

We have a fantastic ski centre in Glenshee only 40 mins from the lodges, it's Britain 's largest Centre offering skiing over 4 valleys.
As winter moves into spring, there are a variety of other outdoor pursuits nearby including walking, golf and rafting.
Our favourite operator is Nae Limits based in Dunkeld.

April to June:

Enjoy seeing spring colours and blossom on the trees. A variety of birds are active around the lodges. Look out for the nesting boxes. Take a short trip to the SWT at the Loch of the Lowes and see the Ospreys, a long established nesting site the new visitor centre allows you to get really close to what's going on . Visit the bluebell wood (Darroch) in Blairgowrie and enjoy this wondrous site in May. This is a good time to explore the area, try some of the local golf courses or go fishing. With no less than six 18 hole and three 9 – hole courses in the immediate area you will be spoilt for choice if golfing is your game. Fishing on the Ericht can cost as little as £5 or hire a ghillie on a beat for the day from £25 our rivers are rich with trout and Salmon, some of the finest fishing to be had in Scotland can be found within 5 miles of Blairgowrie on the Tay, Isla and Ericht.

July to September:

Explore Perthshire and all it has to offer. World class visitor attractions such as Glamis Castle only 15 miles, the smallest distillery in Scotland Edradour only a short drive over the spectacular Moulin Moor and the university and home of Golf at St Andrews only 30miles away. Enjoy the bounty of Strathmore's harvest and enjoy the finest lamb and beef, venison and honey from the hills and of course our famous soft fruits. Walk along the river to the town centre where you can enjoy these fine foods. Blairgowrie has a number of cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes or take a taxi and visit some of our neighbouring villages with top class hotels for beautiful meals such as Lands of Loyal at Alyth, the Castleton at Glamis or Ballathie House just past the famous Meikleour Hedge. Come in early September and join us for our annual Braemar Day festival with fireworks and Blairgowrie Highland Games (always the first weekend in September)

October to December:

Take the chance of a late autumn break to recharge the batteries and enjoy some early Christmas shopping in independent shops in Blairgowrie. The lodges are surrounded by beautiful trees. Autumn brings a most colourful and special time to Perthshire as a whole, Big Tree Country, is spectacular. Come and enjoy the Enchanted Forest at Faskally a night time show painting even more colours on to Perthshire's majestic collection of trees. Get away from it all and Ericht Holiday Lodges is the ideal the ideal location for a family gathering or a romantic Christmas break. All our lodges have a decorated Christmas tree and we can sometimes even arrange for snow!
